Colonel Michael C. Kelley

Colonel Mike Kelley is the Commander of the 102nd Mission Support Group, Otis Air National Guard Base, Mass. He leads a group of over 400 military and civilian personnel providing engineering, contracting, supply, transportation, personnel, services, communications, calibration, logistics and security to the 102nd Intelligence Wing and operational support to 31 tenants and 5k personnel on Joint Base Cape Cod.

Colonel Kelley earned his commission through the Academy of Military Science in 2003 after previously serving as an Aircraft Armament Systems Mechanic supporting the F-15 Eagle.  He served five years as a maintenance officer before cross training to the intelligence career field.  As an intelligence officer, Colonel Kelley served in a variety of operational and leadership positions across three squadrons in the 102nd ISR Group.  Colonel Kelley has supported multiple contingency operations including Operations NOBLE EAGLE, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM and INHERENT RESOLVE at home station and Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM while deployed.  

Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Commander for the 101st Intelligence Squadron, leading over 230 military personnel from various intelligence disciplines providing near real-time processing, exploitation, and dissemination of intelligence directly supporting fielded forces, allies and other United States combatant commander requirements. In addition, he served in a combat mission ready status as a Mission Operations Commander (MOC) for the MQ-9 Reaper, U-2S Dragonlady and RQ-4 Globalhawk.  Colonel Kelley additionally served as the Director of Operations for the 693d Intelligence Support Squadron (DGS-4) Ramstein AB, Germany in support of a Total Force Initiative for five months.
