Joint Base Cape Cod and New Owners Commemorate Transfer of Wastewater Treatment Center

Leaders from the Massachusetts National Guard joined new owners Converge and ASUS today for a ribbon- cutting ceremony to commemorate the transfer of the JBCC Wastewater Treatment Plant, May 15, 2024. The U.S. Air Force, 102nd Intelligence Wing, Converge and ASUS had collaborated since January 2019 on this transfer. Converge acquired the plant in exchange for building a fitness facility for the Massachusetts National Guard and other JBCC tenants, marking a first in utility divestment for the Department of Defense.
