Colonel NICOLE “NIKKI” IVERS

Col. Nicole Ivers is the Deputy Commander of the 102nd Intelligence Wing, Otis Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts. She is responsible for the activities of 1,260 military and civilian personnel ready to respond to domestic emergencies in the Commonwealth with homeland medical and security forces, while maintaining preparedness to accomplish the wing’s wartime missions of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations, cryptologic intelligence, cyber engineering and installation support and expeditionary combat support.

Col. Ivers began her military career when she enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard in January 1984. Served as Enlisted, Warrant Officer and a Commissioned Officer before transferring to the Air National Guard in 2005. She obtained her commission through Direct Commissioning. Since joining the ANG, Col. Ivers has served in various capacities such as the wing executive officer, public affairs officer, comptroller flight commander and logistics readiness flight commander. In 2008 she deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Col. Ivers has completed approximately 130 hours of specialized FEMA training including subject areas such as the National Incident Management System, the National Response Framework, Continuity of Operations and Emergency Operations Center management and operations. Prior to her current position Col. Ivers served as the Comman der, 102nd Mission Support Group.
