Telling the otis air national guard base story

The purpose of the Public Affairs section is to communicate the commander's message and to tell the story of the 102nd Intelligence Wing through a wide-range of photographic, broadcasting, and journalistic products.

Public Affairs also serves as the focal point for information on 102nd Intelligence Wing issues, programs, and base events to Airmen and their families, the community, and members of the news media.

All media requests concerning 102nd Airmen, programs, and events must be coordinated through Public Affairs.

The U.S. Air Force engages in Public Affairs to provide trusted counsel to leaders; build, maintain, and strengthen Airman morale and readiness; enhance public trust and support, and achieve global influence and deterrence.

Public Affairs seeks to inform decision makers and communicate the service's requirements, capabilities, actions and achievements, to the world and keeps the Whiteman community fully informed with complete and accurate information. Our programs are designed to increase public understanding of the 102nd Intelligence Wing mission.
