CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT JOHN G. DUBUC

Chief Master Sergeant John G. Dubuc is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 102nd Intelligence Wing, Otis Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts. As the command chief, he is the senior enlisted advisor to the commander on all matters affecting the readiness, training, professional development and effective utilization of more than 1,200 enlisted force personnel. Additionally he is responsible for coordinating with staff, commanders and senior personnel on administration and implementation of command policy.

Chief Dubuc enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard in 1984 serving with the 726th Maintenance Company. He joined the Massachusetts Air National Guard in 1994 with the 102nd Civil Engineering Squadron. Chief Dubuc retrained as a Communication Computer Operator in 1996 with the 101st Air Control Squadron. In 1998 he transferred to the 267th Combat Communication Squadron and assumed the Flight Chief role in 2012. He transferred to the 253rd Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group in September 2014 as the Division Chief for the Engineering Plans Flight. He was called to active duty in support of Kosovo Operations in 1998 to instruct Active Duty, Air Reserve and Air National Guard forces in the operation of Theater Deployable Voice Communication Equipment and was stationed at Otis Air National Guard Base, Mass. He also deployed for Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in 2002 and 2003, and for Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in 2007. He was tasked with two separate six month TDY’s to Ramstein Air Base Germany working as a MAJCOM Planner with USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6 in 2016 and 2017.

Chief Dubuc is a Drill Status Guardsman and the IT Director for a city and school district in Massachusetts. Prior to assuming his current position, the Chief was the Division Chief for the Engineering Plans Flight, 253rd Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group, Otis ANGB, Mass.
