102nd Communications Flight

The 102nd Communications Flight provides a broad range of communication services to the Joint Base Cape Cod workforce.  In doing so it services more than 1,200 Airmen and 30 tenant organizations that span Joint Base Cape Cod.

Mission Statement:  The federal mission of the 102nd Communications Flight is to deliver and maintain the highest levels of cyber communications services to the Wing – committed to satisfying the communications needs of our Airmen.  During state activations in support of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, it is responsible for establishing communications during state emergency response and contingency operations.

Force Structure or Organization:  The 102nd Communications Flight is comprised of 36 military and civilian personnel. The majority of personnel reside in the Cyber Operations Flight (SCO) focused on mission execution, and with the exception of the command section, the remainder of the unit resides in Plans and Resources Flight (SCX) focused on future plans and programs. The 102nd Communications Flight is subordinate to the 102nd Mission Support Group

Functions and Capabilities: The 102nd Communications Flight plans, installs, operates, and maintains the full spectrum of cyber communications systems and knowledge management services decisive to the successful mission execution of the 102nd Intelligence Wing.
